Torn & Restored Card (Card in Orange / Lemon)

An amazing trick with the added benefit that the props do the hardest part for you!

Concept:
A card is selected by the spectator and ripped to pieces by yourself. You then offer a corner to the spectator as a souvenir, while placing the remaining pieces in an envelope and sealing it. This is then vanished or destroyed.

You then draw the spectator’s attention to a magical item that has been in full view at all times. (An orange / lemon / packet of polos etc)  It is opened, and a rolled up playing card is produced. The card is found to be the selected card, fully restored, but with a piece missing. The piece held by the spectator is found to match exactly, and they are allowed to keep both parts!
